Aurora Borealis - March, 2013
The photographs were taken March 10th-16th, 2013 north of Fairbanks, Alaska. I planned my Alaska journey during the time frame for the highest probability of a solar storm...and sure enough an Earth-directed Coronal Mass Ejection (solar storm) occurred Friday, March 15th, at 2:54 a.m. EDT. This gallery's photos highlight a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
